A few months ago, Into The Gloss dubbed Essie’s Clambake the color of the summer. Suddenly my Instagram was flooded with photos of this bright hue, and for good reason—it captured the season perfectly. Yet I realized when reflecting upon Essie’s choice that finding a nail polish that perfectly fit the cold-weather months was not quite as easy, considering anything that screams “winter” tends to be avoided by pretty much everyone.
