Hello there, fellow Fashionstas! My name is Meagan French and I am currently a Strategic and Organizational Communication major (a fancy way of saying PR) at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
As a commuter student, I split my time between Colorado Springs and Denver. This gives me a comprehensive view of the fashion trends that make up my little corner of the world. I see everything from grunge to polished classics. With the weather shifting as the semester progresses, I am more than a little excited to see how my fellow Fashionistas/os make the transition. I am always so inspired by the creativity and risks that my peers take with fashion.
With all of this fashion inspiration, I have made the resolution to develop my personal style and take more risks. I haven’t yet succumbed to the temptation of wearing sweats to class but that does not mean I haven’t created a bit of a uniform for myself. It is time to incorporate something fresh and new into my well-loved everyday wardrobe. What better place to find more outfit inspiration than my favorite Style Guru’s articles? A few of my favorites are Anna Coke of University of Kentucky and Olivia Muenter of University of Florida.
Student and Style Guru aren’t the only things on my resume. I currently hold the one of the best jobs a girl could ask for caring for a little bundle of joy as a nanny. I also have a blog called Fashionably M. French, where I share my favorite inspirations and everyday happenings.
This semester will hold so much growth for me and I look forward to sharing this journey with my fellow Style Gurus and Fashionista/os. Let this be a time of success, risk-taking and fabulous fashion.
