Hey there Fashionista’s and Fashionistos! My name is Alexa Roberts. I am currently 20 and a student at Syracuse University looking to one day land my dream job working in the fashion industry.
Another year brings with it another semester and I am beyond excited to be spending it with CollegeFashionista. Last semester went so well that I couldn’t resist not coming back for another semester and many more to come as a style guru. The year 2015 presents a ton of new opportunities for me. Starting now, I’m referring to 2015 as my “Golden Year” in celebration of my golden 21st birthday as well as traveling throughout Europe during my semester abroad.
Despite a lot of new and changing opportunities this year presents, one thing that is certainly to remain the same is my sense of style. My sense of style is very simplistic but I love to add a touch of bold color into every outfit I put on. How I dress day-to-day is very dependent on my mood. My closet clearly reflects how I change my outfit at least two to three times before I leave my apartment. Whatever I wear despite if it is an all black outfit or full of colorful prints and patterns, I always like to keep my look chic and relaxed.
Fashion has always been something that always made sense to me. Growing up I constantly flipped through Vogue, Instyle and NYLON magazines admiring the different looks and reading through each editorial piece. My slight addiction to shopping online certainly didn’t hurt in developing my every growing love for fashion. Writing through College Fashionista gives me another outlet to express not only my own style but to share the style of Fashionistas and Fashinistos all around the Syracuse campus.
