Hello fellow Fashionistas! My name is Nicole Garfunkel and I am a student at the University of Delaware. I am about to enter my second semester of my sophomore year, majoring in Fashion Merchandising with minors in Advertising and Business Administration.
Fashion has always played a pivotal role in my life. As soon as I could walk and talk I was picking out my own outfits and perusing catalogs and magazines for the latest trends. Growing up, I was fortunate enough to take classes at FIT and travel to Europe for fashion design and photography classes; both of these experiences solidified my love for fashion! My dream is to continue exploring foreign cultures, live in New York City, and become a buyer in the fashion industry.
Outside of class you can find me at a local cafe feeding my coffee addiction, looking for fashion related books to add to my vast collection, catching up on blogs online and planning an annual fashion show for the design program at my university.
My style, although continually evolving, is simple and chic. Some of my signature pieces include  gray sweaters, dark skinny jeans, booties, anything black and dainty gold jewelry that I only take off when absolutely necessary.
This is my first semester writing for CollegeFashionista and I could not be more thrilled! I have always considered blogging and I could not have thought of a better way to start! My hope is to inspire those who read my articles to think outside the box when it comes to their fashion choices. Look out for my posts every Tuesday!
