My name is Lauren Green and I am a junior at Syracuse University! I’m a Public Relations major with a minor in Sport Management and part of the fashion and beauty communications milestone. I’ve been interested in fashion since I was 5 years old and have been active in learning more about fashion by taking classes at school each semester. This past semester, I studied abroad in London and saw so many new fashion trends that ultimately changed my perspective about fashion as a whole. I even got to attend London Fashion Week and watch the runway show.
I have been involved with theater since I was a little girl, so all the fashion that happens in shows has inspired me to want to become a Fashionista! I am so excited to get back to campus so I can start showing off everyone’s style from Syracuse University on my blog. I’m originally from San Diego, California, so my style varies from cool, relaxing, beach themes to skater/surfer-esque whenever I’m home.
However, when I return to school, it is all about the sweaters, vests, huge parkas, and snow boots. Syracuse and San Diego are very different but living in two completely different places has taught me a lot about fashion and has given me different styles to work with. I love any trend, from large hats to all black to block colors. Every new fashion trend is a way to experiment, and I am so excited that I get to do that on this blog.
