I cannot believe that this is my fourth and final STYLE GURU BIO for CollegeFashionista. I am so thankful for this experience. I have enjoyed writing each and every article and meeting cool new Fashionistas/os along the way. Vassar College hosts an impressive array of stylish students, and I feel inspired whenever I take a walk across campus.
As this is the beginning of my last semester as a Style Guru and a Vassar student, I wanted to reflect a bit on how much I’ve grown over the past three semesters. I’ve definitely changed my appearance, as my drastic change from super long hair in my first bio to a pixie cut in my second one illustrates. My current lob style haircut is perfect for me, and I think I’ll be staying with it a while.
Fashion-wise, I have been trying to up the quality of my wardrobe and invest in some nicer pieces that’ll last long term. Of course, I have to remain faithful to some of my tried and true favorites, like biker jackets, gold jewelry and red lipstick. I’ve taken to wearing red lipstick so often in the past few semesters that it has become something of a second skin. Vampy lipstick comes in a close second.
Beyond all that, I am pleased with my personal development during my time at Vassar. I met some incredible people and got to have some amazing experiences. Chief among these would have to be the semester I spent in Bologna, Italy. Not only was this the semester in which I learned Italian and studied in a new country, but it was also the time I decided to apply for CollegeFashionista.
With graduation drawing near, I am looking to nail down a job while making the most of my final semester on Vassar’s campus. I’m excited for Netflix movie nights with friends, the eventual completion of my two theses and the beautiful weather leading up to that one big day at the end of May. Here’s to wrapping up the year in style!
