Hi, guys, I’m Meesha Merat! Long time no see! I’m back for a third, amazing semester with CollegeFashionista. I hope to keep on bringing you different fashions around the campus of the George Washington University, because there is a huge variety of styles at my school. From preppy to mod, I hope to cover it all.
I’m still going strong as a Journalism major and continue to fall more in love with fashion and journalism each and every day. My style is also continuing to evolve, just as I evolve as a person. I’ve become much more practical with my style, especially since moving to the chilly East Coast. I like to stay cozy and comfortable, but make sure each clothing piece is also chic and unique.
I will forever hold on to my obsession to black booties, such as these from Kate Spade Saturday. They literally match every outfit I put together. During the colder seasons, I love wearing cute sweaters and cardigans. I borrowed this knit cardigan from my mom’s closet. It has such cute and delicate detailing that I couldn’t resist. I’m also not a huge fan of bright colors; therefore, most are my outfits consist entirely of dark colors. Though, sometimes I like to switch it up and wear huge colored scarves or beanies. They accessorize my outfit and add that extra “oomph.”
