Hey there! My name is Lindsay Condon and I am finishing up my last semester as a senior at Western Illinois University. My major is Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Journalism and this is my first semester writing for CollegeFashionista.
I am so excited to finally combine my two passions of fashion and writing and to meet all my fellow fashion enthusiasts this semester around campus. You could say I have always had a passion for fashion and probably very annoyingly rubbed off on my family as well. I loved to go shopping with my mom and pick out outfits for the whole family. I have almost an obsessive need to match and cannot stand when someone in my family wears something that just doesn’t.
My college experience has been a little different from your everyday student due to the fact of being a Division One athlete. I have played soccer since I was four years old and I continued my journey and love for the game on into college. Besides fashion and writing, soccer is my other true love. You can catch me in sportswear the majority of the time, as I love to workout and am extremely active. However, I always enjoyed getting all cleaned up after a game or training and dressing to impress.
I would describe my style as somewhat simple, cute and comfortable. I love stripes and patterns and I have way too many scarves for my own good. I love skirts because they are easy and can dress up almost any outfit. Being an athlete all my life I do not walk very well in heels so I opt for a pair of flats or some trendy tennis shoes. I cannot wait to see what this semester has in store for me as I start my journey with CollegeFashionista!
