In my recent hours (yes, hours!) spent scrolling through Pinterest, I have noticed one very special accessory: the infinity scarf. These lovely little (or big) scarves are wonderful for days when hardware and jewelry just don’t work. Another plus? They can be easily incorporated to fit any outfit, whether you’re going for grunge, preppy, bohemian or some fabulous style in between.
Between the recent arm-knitting craze and the everlasting sweater weather, I find myself incorporating infinity scarves into many of my outfits and it seems that other Fashionistas are too! This particular look is a bit preppier: it was styled with a thick crewneck sweater to maintain the comfort level along with some classic dark-wash skinnies. Tall leather knee-high boots and contrasting legwarmers are a perfect pairing to beat the cold. This Fashionista added an extra touch with a matching wristlet and a simple silver watch.
Infinity scarves are definitely more suited to chillier temperatures. Their large size makes a statement and completes any outfit without the need for too many fussy accessories. They fit in very well with the current oversized everything trend and are great for layering too! An infinity scarf would look amazing on top of a long cardigan or for those of you living in slightly less freezing climates, a maxi dress. My favorite aspect of this trend is how easy it is to just throw one on as you head out the door. If you’re fashionably late (or just late) this accessory is perfect.

I want others to view me as stylish and sophisticated, so that’s what I strive for when I get dressed in the morning. Determine how you want to be portrayed and that’s your starting point!”
