Whenever we talk about closet staples we always talk about a basic pair of blue jeans or a white T-shirt. Although a white T-shirt and a pair of blue jeans are very essential, we’re completely forgetting a classic that is absolutely essential to any Fashionista’s wardrobe. It’s something everyone has in their closet, and it’s a flannel. I know right? How could you possibly forget about the simple flannel? A flannel can be worn in so many ways it’s amazing. You can choose to wear it in a business casual manner or even make it look preppy.
What my Fashionisto did here was wear it in a casual but well put together look. By layering a hoodie underneath his flannel it adds to the outfit, and makes it a little bit more thought out while keeping him comfortable and protected from the unpredictable Bay Area weather. What really pulls his outfit together is his statement graphic T-shirt. A graphic T-shirt and a flannel is like a match made in heaven. The flannel helps him give off a casual but well put together look because it’s a button up, while his T-shirt keeps it casual but adds a bit of personality to his outfit to make it his own look.
