I’ve always been in love with Gwen Stefani’s style. There’s something about the way she matches up casual pieces and dressy ones that always catches my attention. When asked by InStyle how she defines her style, she said she is “all about mixing things up”. No wonder she always catches everyone’s attention on the streets and that we all want every collection L.A.M.B. launches.
While browsing through L.A.M.B.’s collections, I fell in love with the spring 2014 ready-to-wear one. There were a lot of printed pieces and tailored ones. For colors, there was a lot of black and white, but with a little touch of color. The slouchy pieces added a casual but chic touch to the looks. Every single piece clearly alluded Gwen Stefani’s style! It was literally to die for. Since I’ve been going out a lot lately, enjoying winter break while I still can, I decided to create an outfit based on the show.
Since my closet consists of basically black and white items, I decided to invest in different pieces instead of different colors. Harem pants have always held a special place in my heart, they are so stylish and I feel like they elongate the body. So for my look, I decided to pair a high-waisted harem pants with a cropped top. These two pieces are a must in every girl’s closet; they go extremely well together and can be worn in many different situations. Plus, they are a street style favorite! To add a classy feel to my outfit, I topped it off with a tailored vest and heels. To add a pop of color, I chose a red bag. I have to say, I loved the final result.
