As our winter quarter here slows down to a lethargic halt, the student body collectively holds their breath in the moments before final exams grace our presence and consume our days. In just a few short weeks, the campus will empty out as students disperse across the country on spring break and for many this means a tropical locale or any other adventurous wanderings. Whether you’ll be lounging poolside or attending one of the many upcoming music and art festivals occurring, your wardrobe is all but begging you for some spring lightening.
I spotted this Fashionista and immediately became excited for all the festivities that only spring quarter can bring. Her outfit has all the essentials, making her the perfect concert-goer. I like this outfit for a festival with more relaxed vibes like Coachella or Bonaroo. But she could easily take this look to a food festival or, say, an outdoor flea market, which are a dime a dozen around the Los Angeles area.

Matching perfectly with her backpack are these black leathery sandals that tie her outfit together in a cohesive way. I’m a huge fan of anything black or leather, so these two accessories really stood out to me. I like how they give a little street style-esque vibe to her otherwise bohemian concert wear.
One Simple Change: Hang onto the good vibes of your mini break from reality by taking this outfit right back to class the following Monday. Throw on a slouchy knit sweater (I love this one from Brandy Melville). Make sure it’s a neutral color like beige or tan to keep the whole look consistent.
