After all the buzz from New York Fashion Week, I thought this would be the perfect time to take one of my favorite looks off of the runway and adapt it into an adorable spring look. This oversized fluffy coat was a necessity to the Topshop Unique fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection. It made an appearance not only through coats but vests collars and sleeves.
I know it seems like a push to wear a fur jacket in spring, but hey, fashion is all about pushing the limits, right? I read once that trendy is the last stage before tacky, and that is something that I think holds true to this look. On the runway, a lot of the fur was paired with more subdued colors but, of course, when it comes to my style I couldn’t help but add a floral shirt and a vibrant pink satchel.
The runway is obviously where these designers hard work comes to life. But for all of us Fashionistas, it is just the start to styling amazing ensembles. Underneath my coat, I reinvented one of my favorite trends right now: a graphic T-shirt paired with a major statement necklace. This trend is perfect paired with jeans and a blazer or tucked into a skirt like I have done here.
No look of mine these days seems to be complete without some sort of lipstick. This red orange lip perfectly off sets the neon pink satchel.
For shoes I finally get to debut my new Steve Madden platform pumps. This platform pump is something I am expecting to see a lot more of this spring/summer.
