If you can believe it or not, the University Of Florida is on spring break this week already and it’s the first week that has hit 80 degrees in I don’t know how long. Finally, my toes can come out of hiding. Fashionistas around campus are starting to transition their wardrobe into spring and I could not be happier about that.
I stopped today’s Fashionista when her shoes instantly caught my eye. They are beige strappy sandals with a chunky heel from Forever 21; there are similar pairs at Charlotte Russe and American Eagle Outfitters. Basically, they are the quintessential heels for spring to pair with any outfit. Today’s Fashionista showed how to use this type of strappy sandal to help her look transition from winter to spring. The rest of her outfit included black leggings, an oversized black tank top and a camel-colored cardigan. She also wore a few gold-toned bracelets and gold earrings and carried a black-pebbled leather Christian Siriano purse. They have a similar bag in Siriano’s new Payless collection.
However, her shoes were the detail that took her look to the next level. The sandals dressed up her casual, comfy outfit and matched the neutral color tone of the rest of her outfit. If she were to have worn booties, the look would have been more appropriate for winter. Since she wore sandals, the outfit exemplified the perfect transition look for spring.
