A huge trend that’s come onto the fashion scene within the past couple of years is that of the band T-shirt. Now, there has been constant back and forth as to whether or not a person should wear a band shirt if they haven’t heard the band’s music. I, for one, think it’s not that people are trying to pose as a fans, but rather they appreciate the stellar designs that lots of musicians use nowadays to represent their brands. On top of the great graphics, band T-shirts achieve a comfort level that exceeds any other kind of shirt. With versatility and ease of wear, the band shirt is a piece not to be missed out on.
This week’s Fashionista happened to wear a concoction of the two basic looks that go along with T-shirts and band shirts in particular. There’s the casual look usually worn with jeans and an easy shoe and then there is the dressier version with accessories and purposeful primping. Her outfit is a mix of both. With her flower necklace, a real addition to the interest factor, she adds flirty flavor. Brown combat boots are always a trusty shoe to go with, which goes back to the casual looks easy shoe. What makes her outfit photograph worthy isn’t any singular piece between the boots, the necklace or the T-shirt. It’s a true blending of each of the styles which include edgy, punk and chic.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “I think comfort is everyone’s best bet. Leggings are always a must for me especially when it’s this cold out and I love Imagine Dragons, so wearing a T-shirt just felt like a perfect fit for a comfy, cool look.”
