We are in the thick of March. This crazy month acts as a bridge between winter and spring. The first half feels like January with frigid temperatures, blustering winds and snowy sidewalks, and the second half feels like May with warm days, gentle breezes and green grasses. This wild period of transition can understandably create confusion as to what and how much should be in our wardrobe. For example, we ask ourselves, “Should I put all these scarves in storage or keep one or two?” Or sometimes we ask, “Do I really need to keep this water-resistant coat? I have a lighter jacket. Should I put that in my closet?” As for me, I usually opt for the better safe than sorry approach by keeping a little bit of everything. Why not have it all? We’re Fashionistas!
This is especially true when it comes to our footwear. We are all pretty familiar with UGGs. Their signature sheepskin boots are worn far and wide by both men and women. They are no doubt iconic and are great for casual winter days. But what do we do when we want to spice things up a bit? Sometimes we need or want to cross that chasm that separates casual and dressy. This is where we take notes from this stylish Fashionista. She chose a pair of lace-up UGGs with fur on the outer edge. The lacing gives her footwear a more polished appearance, and the white fur makes her boots pop. So what are you waiting for? Strut your stuff while turning some heads.
Want to bridge the gap between dressy and military? Purchase the Finney boot. These UGGs display three bold leather straps on the outside but contain a warm, comfy bed of wool on the inside. What could be better?
