If you are anything like me, the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week has been the only thing on your mind lately. There are so many new trends that I cannot wait to make my own, so this week I put together a look from one of my favorite designers, Michael Kors. His ready-to-wear fall 2015 line was one of my favorites. Fur was a major accessory throughout this collection and many others. I have always assumed fur was a winter thing, but Michael Kors proved me wrong; he made fur transition into a great fall accessory as well as a winter one.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been in love with fur. My mom tells me all the time that I remind her of her grandma because we both have a love for fur. However, her style was a little different compared to mine—she could afford the designer fur accessories. Being on a college budget definitely makes it a little more difficult to find trendy pieces at an affordable price.
To make his design my own, I put together a look that can be worn for multiple different occasions, and the best part about it is that it includes a fur vest. I’ve paired my faux fur vest with a loose fitting gray tunic and a pair of burgundy leggings. To polish my look off, I’ve added a pair of biker boots and a bronze long necklace. The faux fur vest is a great way to dress up a simple outfit and really helps to make the outfit fit almost any occasion.
