Okay, Fashionistas and Fashionistos—I have some good news and bad news. First, the bad news. It is the middle of the school year and you’re about to bombarded with a plethora of papers, projects and midterms/finals that professors have maliciously decided to make due over the next couple of weeks. The good news, however, is that I am here to show you how you can still look your best without sacrificing too much of your nonexistent time during this trying, or rather hellish, period.
I know it is way easier to roll out of bed and just head out the door after a long night of cramming, but with a little effort you can still look phenomenal. Take notes from this Fashionista. Her ensemble is simple and comprised of very few pieces that when thrown together looks effortlessly fashionable. She pairs an Aztec patterned blouse with black jeggings and brown riding boots to pull off a classic boho-inspired look. You can save brain cells by going for a patterned blouse to instantly add color and texture to your look. Though not necessary, this Fashionista adds a small necklace to break up the patterned blouse a bit and add a feminine touch to the ensemble without being overpowering.
With only three pieces required for this look—four if you add a happiness inducing manicure color—there is no reason why you cannot dedicate a smidgen of your brain power to being fashionable and comfy. After all, midterms and finals will come and go, but fashion is for life…at least that’s what I keep telling myself.
One Simple Change: For those of you who get actual seasons like winter where you live, add a fleece/fur lined peacoat to make this look winter appropriate. Nothing screams fashion, elegance and warmth like a quality pea coat!
