This guy has got the perfect sweatshirt to sport those spring break blues. Am I right? As we all recover from a fun filled spring break, we anxiously await the weekend. I’m not looking forward to locking myself up in the library for hours on end, and I don’t think you are either. But we can do this; the weekend is only a few days away. So why not feast our eyes upon oh-so-trendy threads while we wait?
This Fashionisto’s outfit works great for the weekend; it’s comfortable but still edgy, and without a doubt, he’s ready for a day well spent in the city. I spotted him at Topshop, located in Chicago’s Loop, which is right where all the fun is located. Could he sport this look for a day of shopping? Obviously. Could he wear it out to lunch with friends? Yep. He could even act like a tourist in his own city for the day and visit Millennium Park, the Willis Tower or going ice skating; we know that this outfit will work. Let’s just say he could wear this ensemble for basically any casual weekend activity that Chicago has to offer.
But let’s focus on what truly matters: the outfit itself. I really love this Fashionisto’s use of black in the outfit. To keep the color interesting, he sported different textures in each piece of clothing. His faux alligator skin snapback contrasts nicely with his cotton graphic sweatshirt. Once combined with a killer pair of black ripped skinnies, we see this edgy look come together, especially after he threw on a sweet pair of black leather kicks.
It doesn’t take much to look like a fashion guru. It’s as easy as a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt. You don’t even need an intense color scheme. Stick to one or two colors, and let your textures vary. I know we’re wallowing in our sorrows that spring break is over, but take a look at this Fashionisto, and remember that you can celebrate the weekend in style.
One Simple Change:Â Throw on a light wash denim jacket to add some more texture, especially if the cold weather makes a comeback.
