This week at UNL, Mother Nature graced us with undoubtedly gorgeous weather. It has been a nice change to see familiar faces out and about soaking up the rays and enjoying the forthcoming of spring. It’s been interesting to see how everyone has been dressing for the nice weather. I’ve been taking on the nice weather with full force and have been sporting shorts, flowing pants, and dresses.
This Fashionista definitely used the beautiful weather to draw inspiration from. Her free-flowing shirt is breathable and evokes an effortless style. Her delicate necklace was essential to pairing with the blouse to draw attention to the detailing on her sleeves.
Her jeans make trekking to chilly 8:00 a.m. classes a little less intimidating, all while making sure the weather transition throughout the day won’t leave her sweating by lunch. Not to mention, the acid-wash of the jeans accentuate the light colors used in her look and also add some nice texture.
She ties the look together with brown, strappy sandals. I absolutely adore these sandals! They bring an essence of spring to her whole look. Not to mention, they look so comfortable and are very flattering.
This Fashionista is ready for a weekend lunch date with girlfriends, or meeting up with the parents who came up to visit without warning. It’s girly, cute and easy to put together last minute!
One Simple Change: Switch out the strappy sandals for comfortable wedges to transition to date night. This makes the look even more feminine without sacrificing comfort!
