Heavy jackets and furry parkas are a thing of the past here on campus. That’s right my friends, the snow has melted and it is nothing but green grass and sunny skies in The City of Brotherly Love. Unfortunately, a tad bit of springtime wind tells us that it is not time to go completely jacket-less just yet. A lightweight sport coat is a must-have for this transition in seasons.
This Fashionisto opted for a navy blue sport coat on this beautiful spring day. Sport coats are much more casual and evident in everyday wear opposed to a suit jacket. Also, a sport coat is designed to be worn on its own, without any matching trousers, and does not come as part of a suit. This student showcases this by paring the coat with dark brown khakis.
For his shirt, the Fashionisto chose a light blue button-down that contrasted the navy blue coat perfectly. Light brown loafers paired with a matching belt were perfect accessories to top off his look. Although, he did not stop with just those simple add-ons. The crown jewels of this look had to be his Ray-Ban glasses and Tissot watch. This casual take on a more formal outfit made the student look well polished, while still not looking too overdressed for class.
