Saint Laurent’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection was anything but unapologetic. Season after season, the brand’s collections are controversial and this one proved to be nothing less. This season, the line was a tribute to the rocker chick hiding inside of each of us waiting for the right moment to let her freak flag fly. Here she is, ladies and gentlemen, rocking some ripped tights and covered in leather and animal print, nonetheless. Would you have it any other way?
I channeled the Saint Laurent collection by pairing two of my favorite things: leather and prints. Prints, patterns and pops of color were seen scattered throughout the collection, ranging anywhere from animal print to polka-dots. Since it has been so nice out lately, I chose to incorporate a print by wearing these lightweight (and super comfy) Lavender Brown pants. I kept my top pretty simple, considering how busy the print on my pants is. I topped off the look by wearing my leather jacket. My leather jacket is my baby—I seriously wear it with anything and everything. I got so excited when I was looking through the collection because it just gave me another reason to bust out my jacket before it gets too hot to wear it (comfortably, anyways). I finished off my look with a pair of black mules, which is definitely my favorite pair of shoes for the season.
