One of my favorite looks that I go back to time and time again is the jeans and T-shirt ensemble. Of course, I do not mean a sloppy T-shirt worn to bed, but a shirt that is comfortable and shows off one’s personal style.
As I was searching through Style.com, I came across a designer I was not familiar with. The designer, Beaufille, seems to specialize in comfortable knits, but creates edgy looks with accessories. The looks Beaufille designed for fall 2015 are the epitome of what I like to wear more often than not.
So, it was not too hard to find a look in my wardrobe that was inspired by this collection. I started with a pair of my favorite jeans. I love wearing dark-wash jeans because they can be dressed up or dressed down and do not look sloppy like some other looks incorporating jeans. Then, to mimic the knit shirts present in this collection, I put on one of my new favorite tops. The striped top is made of the comfortable knit material, but the hem and sleeves are chiffon, which makes the shirt especially unique. To edge the look up a bit, like in the Beaufille collection, I shrugged on my favorite leather jacket to complete the ensemble.
Overall, I was very intrigued by the Beaufille fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection. I thought it had classic styles, but still brought a unique edge that I hadn’t seen before. I plan to look out for this designer in future fashion shows.
