WHAT TO WEAR: Workout

Everyone knows that going to the gym leads to an overall positive behavior. Working out is beneficial for both your physical and mental health; however, it can sometimes be difficult to find the motivation to actually get yourself to the gym. Take it from a Fashionista turned gym rat. Whether you’re trying to get into a new routine or rewarding yourself for your killer progress, new workout clothes are one of the best ways to motivate yourself to get going or keep going.

This Fashionista is walking proof that gym outfits don’t have to be complicated to be cute. Who doesn’t want to throw on a pair of leggings, cute sneakers and oversized sweater and be on their way? I know that I certainly do—going to the gym is the perfect excuse to do just that. Her classic black leggings, mint crewneck top and Nike Roshe sneakers created a simple and classic gym outfit that she was even able to wear throughout the day to accommodate her busy schedule.

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to look like a scrub to workout. Okay, by the end of a workout my hair might get messy and I may appear to be dying. But don’t worry, my outfit will always be on point—that’s all that really matters anyways, right? If there’s one recommendation I can make, it’s to invest in a comfortable and high quality pair of black athletic leggings (my favorites are from lululemon athletica).

No more excuses! Get yourself a cute new gym outfit, rock it with pride and get moving. You mind, body and wardrobe will all thank you.

One Simple Change: Take this outfit from the gym to the library in an instant. Trade those Nikes for a pair of boat shoes or ankle booties and you’re rocking a totally library-acceptable, study-friendly look.
