It’s officially spring! This means Fashionistas are sporting different trends to break into the new season. They are even channeling summer in some aspects. As many of us are looking forward to the freshness of spring and the warmth of summer, our style is changing. This Fashionista is clearly bringing some summer vibes to this warmer spring day and I am obsessed!

CollegeFashionista: What are you wearing today?
Kaitlyn Sands: My cardigan is a modern tie-dye from T.J.Maxx, paired with a gray flowy shirt and a teal bralette both from Free People. My jeans are a light wash skinny jean from Wildfox. For accessories my shoes are a black bootie from Lucky Brand and my bag a cross-body from Marc by Marc Jacobs. Finally, I’m wearing my brand new sunglasses from Free People!
CF: How would you describe your style?
KS: I would describe my style as casual, beachy, with earthy bohemian vibes. However, I also stay on top of trends and take part in the ones that I find suitable for my style.
CF: Who or where do you get your style inspiration from?
KS: Devin Brugman and Coco Ho! Devin is co-creator of popular Instagram @Abikiniaday and designer of Monday Swimwear. Coco is a professional surfer from Hawaii who is sponsored by the brand Volcom.
CF: You mentioned your minoring in fashion, what made you decide to do so?
KS: I really want to work in fashion PR, so I picked the minor to help me achieve my dream!
