Here on Temple’s campus, just because the calendar says its spring, Mother Nature has other plans. Some days, I’m tempted not to break out my favorite pair of shorts, while others leave me struggling to class hiding behind layers of sweaters, scarves and my parka. My favorite days, though, are those when the sun’s out and the air is windy—one just like the day I spotted this Fashionista wearing the cutest springtime outfit!
I was first drawn in on this Fashionista’s shirt. Her off the shoulder printed top is one perfect for the weather; a long sleeved shirt, yet at the same time, showing some skin. Getting a closer look at this top, I found there were more reasons to love it than the off the shoulder style. The black and white print was broken up with a pink and orange pattern—two perfect springtime colors. If the print and style weren’t enough, this top provides the perfect amount of added detail from top to bottom. Having duel purposes, the hooks at the top of the shirt provides color blocking while creating and adding a cute detail. At the bottom of this Fashionista’s top, is not your typical black fringe. The small detail draws attention to the Fashionista without overpowering her printed top.
This student kept the rest of her ensemble simple. Her light blue jeans are perfect for springtime, and keeps her outfit looking bright and casual. On her feet, she sports traditional black combat boots—another perfect touch for those chilly spring days.
