My wardrobe is laden with leather jackets, black pants and comfy shirts. I have four different black leather jackets that I chose to wear with different outfits based on the weather, my mood and my outfit. When I saw Iro’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection, I was very excited. This collection encompasses everything I like when picking out clothing. I love the dark and neutral colors used as well as the general aesthetic of the collection. Iro’s collection presents the rock-chick brand that Iro has always been known for. It is slightly grungy while still being classy and cool. The stripes and high-waisted pants were what inspired me to create this outfit. I loved how Iro paired slim fitting pants with boxy jackets and loose shirts.
I chose to wear my ripped black skinny jeans to play off of the grungy feel of the collection. Inspired by the stripes in almost every outfit, I decided to wear my tan and black striped shirt. It is comfortable and will keep me warm in the temperamental spring weather we have been having lately.
The jackets in this collection were all boxy and textured. I wore my BCBGeneration leather and fur jacket to pull the look together. I love how the colors of the fur complement the colors of the stripes on my shirt. I feel like the jacket pulled the outfit together and helped to better represent the collection.
This outfit is perfect for going to class or hanging out outside on the warmer days ahead of us!
