Flowers blooming, warm breeze and sunny skies. These are just a few of my favorite things. Whenever spring arrives, I feel as if I should be running freely singing, “The hills are alive…” As I sat on a bench in Madison Square Park on a Tuesday afternoon, I realized how alive the city becomes once the warm weather strikes. The park was filled with people on their lunch breaks from school or work. Some were quietly reading, others were eating and spending time with good company. Lastly, of course, there were the dog walkers. One cannot leave them out.
I spotted this Fashionista and noticed her use of light tones and her red purse. It was a great pop of color. Her outfit contains romantic hues with a white jacket, T-shirt and soft pink pants. I loved how she wore sneakers and sunglasses because it gave the outfit a casual look and the sunglasses were a great staple piece. Just as the days get brighter, so does the wardrobe. After months of seeing black peacoats, I knew that after spotting this Fashionista, the spirit of spring has finally arrived.
Julie Andrews would agree with me when I say that one of the best things are when “silver white winters melt into springs.” Whenever the sun shines, days seem to be filled with glee and positivity. Let this season bring joyous resolutions because after all, spring is all about rebirth. Go ahead and be the best Fashionista you can be!
