So, it’s finally baseball season! However, finals are approaching, and I find many of my peers telling me about their busy upcoming schedules leading into the next few weeks of junior year. They often find it hard to transition from a day to night ensemble. This is totally understandable due to the heavy workload of college students. Many students have to balance school, friends, family and after school jobs, so sometimes it’s hard to even find a moment to relax. On busy days when I’m scheduled back to back with school, meetings and events, I try to wear an outfit that can easily go from class to a friend’s birthday dinner or like this Fashionisto, a baseball game.
This Fashionisto chooses to wear his favorite team—the Indians—baseball jersey. He then pairs it with Nike sneakers that are perfect for transitioning from long walks to class to an outdoors baseball game. He keeps it simple by wearing khaki pants that are cool enough for warm spring days but also warm enough for chilly nights. Also, the khaki pants are perfect because this Fashionisto could easily slip on some black dress shoes and a white collared shirt for an after class interview. He accessorizes with black, framed glasses that are also interview ready. His outfit is perfect for class, a baseball game and a night on town with his friends.
One Simple Change: Swap the baseball jersey for a button-up shirt, and switch out the sneakers for a pair of boots. You’re ready for date night with a special girl.
