As cliche as it sounds, I’ve always dreamed of traveling the world: experience city after city, climb a mountain, turn up my road mix and fall in love at a coffee shop. Let’s not forget the camera and my lovely polaroid! The great thing about traveling is having the memories and placing them in a box for you to always look back to. To be able to miss it one day and say I went there! Rachel Zoe’s spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection is designed for the jet-setter: “She’s a jet-set girl, running around all over Europe. Like I always say, it’s not necessarily that you are traveling all over, but that you want to be.”
The collection consists of simple pieces and color tones of white, gray and black. It’s chic and classic because, as you well know, less is more. The collection is cool but classy and so I chose to to wear a cream colored button-down shirt with a sequined pocket, black capris and a cool unique pair of Calvin Klein shoes.
The collection captures the look of a glam bohemian; however, my outfit leans towards a much more classic and minimal approach. I wanted my outfit to demonstrate an everyday look that can be worn for many casual occasions, so that I know that jet-setter in me always shines through.
A true glamour gal is one that always keeps it chic even if she’s just wearing a T-shirt and jeans. She’s the dreamer, the one everyone wants to be. Like a novel, every look should tell a story. What will your story be?
