One trend that has started to spread like wildfire this past fall is stripes. They have become so popular that the trend has continued into the spring and seems like it is here to stay for all of 2015. Designers have begun to take a more linear approach and are incorporating stripes more frequently into their wardrobes. I personally label stripe pieces as staple pieces in my closet. I wear them with anything and everything. You can almost consider these beautiful linear patterns as a neutral in your everyday look.
This Fashionista makes her striped shift dress the centerpiece of her spring outfit. She pairs her dress with a casual chambray button-up and edgy black booties, keeping this look chic and effortless. She adds her own style to the look with her exclusive hairstyle and accessories. This Fashionista has a more unique look by adding a fun kate spade new york bag and tasteful gold necklaces. This style is so versatile that you cannot only style it with denim, but you can also style it with other prints: khakis, lace and even leather. Although stripes can be considered a staple piece in your wardrobe, there is nothing uniform about them. They can come from all directions in different widths and even different colors. Don’t be afraid to literally color outside the lines and try contrasting stripes!
