The Ralph Lauren fall 2015 ready-to-wear show was full of suede, fringe and cream, monochromatic colors. You might be intimidated by all the textures, but embrace it and be fearless! Freedom is what bohemian culture is about, and it shows in their style of clothing. With it being festival season, the looks were inspiring for potential outfits. The loose and free-flowing materials make it perfect for warm days out in the sun, enjoying your favorite bands. If you didn’t make it to Coachella this year, don’t worry! Ralph Lauren has given you enough inspiration to put together the perfect outfits for next year!
My outfit is inspired from looks 18 to 26. I mixed different textures together which brought together lace, fringe and crochet. When you are wearing a monochromatic outfit, you can never have enough textures. The skirt mixes crochet and lace and is short and flowy which is perfect for summer days. The crochet in the skirt complements the crochet shirt. The lace in the skirt complements the lace in the kimono. Kimonos are one of my favourite summer pieces, especially at festivals. They add length to any outfit by adding it on top of a shorter layer (skirt or dress).
To bring the outfit together I traded regular sunglasses in for some cute heart shaped glasses! These add a flirty and fun touch to the outfit. The booties are opened toe which is perfect for the warm weather. Fringed boots were also seen in the Ralph Lauren show and go perfect with a boho look!
