We can’t get enough of spring here at Marist College. The stress of finals can wait for the week because we only have a few more weeks of beautiful Hudson River Valley weather before we head home for the summer. There’s no better way to relax after a long week than spending the weekend laying out on the campus green. This is also a great place to spot Fashionistas.
While many outfits caught my interest, this Fashionista, in particular, is showing off her unique style with a look that’s casual and comfortable but structured at the same time.
This Fashionista is embracing the warm weather with a plaid button-down. The way this Fashionista tied her button-down transforms it into a summery crop top. The top might be a little riqsue for class, but on the weekends, don’t be afraid to show a little more skin or wear something out of the box! Her lace maxi skirt shows off her legs without being too revealing, as well as adds a gorgeous flow to her outfit. She looks ready for a relaxing day of lounging in the sun and not stressing about finals.
Her classic gold watch and simple black stone ring are perfect, simple accents to her fun outfit, and her snakeskin tote bag keeps the look from being too resort-like. This Fashionista’s simple sandals complete the look, giving her feet some sparkle while still being comfortable.
One Simple Change: Swap the plaid shirt for a solid crop top for a day to night look that is be sure to turn heads!
