The recent runway show from H&M was beyond fab. The fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection really highlighted a lot of patterns and colors in the beautiful collection. Each piece had a wide range of layering and colors within it. The colors ranged from bright orange to green to black to red. Looks varied from overalls to layering. The look I chose to emulate featured a long black dress and a tan jacket. I chose to make this ensemble more spring appropriate.
For my chic outfit, I chose to wear a navy maxi dress with a brown knit sweater. I added a chunky necklace with a hint of teal to add color to the look. I also wore a pair of reflector blue shade glasses to make it more summer and spring accessible.
I think the great thing about this attire is that it can be worn for a multitude of occasions. To begin with, this ensemble can be worn as a simple day outfit for an internship or even at a chilly day at the beach. The options are endless in this comfy outfit.
Overall this fall 2015 show inspired me that color and simplicity are key to a fun look. An outfit does not always have to be complicated to be cool and chic. I am excited to see what else my simple yet chic wardrobe will bring me. Stay tuned.
