I am a huge fan of bright prints and colors. I love mixing and matching prints and going out of my comfort zone with my pairings. Because of this, I loved Miu Miu’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear line. The line features a variety of popping prints and colors all intermingled for an assortment of looks. I personally loved the recurring colored leopard print dresses, paired with coats of different textures and patterns. A particular dress that stood out to me was a blue babydoll dress with a leopard print. The dress is paired with red and white striped earrings and pointed green flats. While some people might find these looks outlandish, I love how daring they are. Although I love mixing prints, I’ve never been bold enough to mix prints of such different colors.
I sought out to find a dress similar to those of the collection. I settled with a printed dress of a mix of colors with cap sleeves. Although this dress is timid compared to the dresses in Miu Miu’s collection, the piece was something I ordinarily would not have worn, but I ended up loving it. I paired the look with a pair of simple black heels. Although I did not add anything else to the look because it would have been inappropriate for my occasion, looking back, I think it would have been awesome with a purple cardigan or even purple pumps.
Get My Look: 1. AÂ pair of black pumps. 2. AÂ colorful, printed dress. 3. AÂ purple cardigan.
