ALL IN THE DETAILS: It's A Sheer Thing

As school comes to a close and summer approaches, it means one thing: summer clothing shopping. I cannot wait to try all of the new summer trends. One trend that has been sneaking its way into almost all of my favorite outfits lately has been sheer paneling. Whether its sheer cutouts in dresses or sheer sleeves on T-shirts, sheer clothing is coming back big. Sheer paneling is a great way to rock the cutout trend without showing too much skin. The translucent material allows just enough light in to make the trend stand out. One of my favorite ways to wear sheer clothing is in a dress!

This Fashionista rocked the sheer trend in a flowing maxi dress in a light turquoise color that is perfect for summer. The dress has a sheer panel that reaches all the way to the floor with an opaque layer underneath working like a mini slip. The navy stripe down the front of the dress perfectly matches her handbag. For accessories, she wore a pair of wayfarer sunglasses and a dual-faced watch, one on Madison time and the other on Paris time. She paired the look with some simple white sandals.

How To: You want to try out some crazy cutouts this summer, but not sure you want to bare too much skin? Sheer paneling is your answer. Grab a skirt with some sheer paneling and keep the rest of your outfit simple. Pairing it with a plain T-shirt and some simple flats will let the skirt shine!
