One trend I cannot get enough of is denim on denim. We saw Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears sporting the look back in 2001 at the American Music Awards and now we’re seeing it rock the runways in shows like Gucci. The collection was full of colors and crazy prints with a few denim on denim looks to follow. Out of all the outfits that walked in this collection, this denim look was my favorite.
I was inspired by this collection to create this denim look. I’m not the biggest fan of jeans mainly because I feel confined and restrained in them, but boyfriend jeans are a whole other subject. The loose casual fit of boyfriend jeans are so comfortable and if you feel the same way about jeans as I do, I highly recommend them! I chose to pair them with a basic white tank to give an “all-American” feel to my outfit. For double denim looks, I’m not too fond of having the same wash of denim both on top and bottom, so I paired this faded denim top with this outfit to give more dimension to the look. To dress up the look a bit, I threw on these adorable heels. These heels are by far the most comfortable heels I own and they are so easy to walk in and that’s coming from a girl who trips in two inch heels!
Don’t be afraid to rock a denim on denim look! I was a little hesitant on trying this look out, but I know I’ll be wearing this outfit more often. This outfit can be dressed down for a casual day with my girlfriends by switching out the shoes with my favorite converse or dressed up for a night out by keeping the shoes and adding a statement necklace.
Get My Look: 1. A pair of boyfriend jeans. 2. A denim top. 3. Your favorite heels.
