The ace&jig spring 2015 show had me feeling like I was being transported to the Mediterranean coastline. The fluidity and the draping of the garments gave them a certain Grecian aesthetic that would be perfect for a summer vacation abroad. The stripes, prints and all of the layering were a fashion masterpiece that I had to try and paint for myself. With the summer months upon us, I recently took a shopping trip to try and get my summer style in gear and to brighten-up my wardrobe color palette. In this shopping endeavor, I ended up with multiple ace&jig-inspired looks that will be the perfect assets for some of my upcoming adventures.
This bohemian baby doll top was a must, being a step in the right direction as far as the color palette renovation goes. It is perfect for summer in how it drapes and flows in all of the right directions and doesn’t stick to the body. The off-white and lace details on the sleeve also add a nice classic touch. My navy printed pants were also a new add after being inspired by the Fashionista in my last post. I could not pass up on the unique print and level of comfort that they brought to my fashion game, and ultimately ended up leaving with a couple of pairs—oops!
My sandals definitely add to the Mediterranean aspect that I was going for. With the widespread gladiator sandal trend happening, I scored these shorter lace-up sandals for 50 percent off at Target and love how sturdy and chic they are. I kept my accessories low-key and opted to carry my favorite brown tote bag, perfect for fitting every little essential on a summer day.
