Hello, my little peoples! Here reporting from hot Miami, Florida! My name is Brisa and this will be my third semester with CollegeFashionista—cue the balloons and confetti. Being a part of CollegeFashionista has been a great opportunity. It has helped me grow as a writer and an individual. Along the way, I’ve been able to feel more confident towards my writing and not feel insecure about it. When I first started writing for CollegeFashionista, I’m not going to lie, it was a bit difficult. But writing every week helped me improve and enjoy the process.
As for myself, I am a fashion and film lover who enjoys funny dog pictures, superhero movies, shows and your occasional Netflix binge. (Okay, I lied. I may enjoy more than the occasional binge.) I also currently run my own personal fashion and lifestyle blog, Small But Tall, where I share my personal style and things I enjoy. I even recently started my own YouTube channel as an extension of it. Ideally, I want to work within the fashion industry and surround myself in an environment where I’m constantly encouraged to be innovative and creative. If I can somehow contribute to the world of creativity then I think life would be pretty sweet!
As for my style, I tend to gravitate to very cutesy pieces and dress according to however I feel at the moment. Right now I’m really liking two piece sets, cute printed socks and hats. However, I want to try to accessorize more and try other pieces of clothing that I wouldn’t usually wear. Fashion is fun and it’s always great to experiment and evolve along the way.
