Cheers, mates! My name is Bailey Bosworth and I am a Communications student at the picture perfect Pepperdine University (aka PCA from Zoey101). Having just returned from London, I am attempting to readjust to the California lifestyle and the lack of all-black outfits in this state.
Having been a bit of a nomad for the past two years, I am constantly integrating myself into new living situations, cultures and styles. What I love about change is that is gives me a fresh start. Yes, it is cliché, but reinventing yourself is really fun! I literally change my style every day; when I lounge in Laguna Beach I dress like a skater girl (which I’m totally not) and when I spend time in LA, I rock a leather jacket and booties for a model off-duty look. Regardless of what I am doing, I love being glamorous and can be a bit of a diva.
Coming back to my small hometown has been a bit strange, especially when it comes to getting dressed everyday. I can be a bit scared of what people think because Orange County is so different from the thriving metropolis of people and clothing that London has. But I have realized that I need to build a bridge and get over it. This outfit is representative of my complicated, eccentric, glamorous life that has taken me all over the world.
Tunics are all the rage right now—even my mom has one. They can be worn over pants with boots or as a dress and with sandals. They are incredibly comfortable and easy to just throw on and look stylish. For fun and texture, I added a black, feather necklace and a leather jacket. I am absolutely obsessed with these black, chunky shoes. I wore them for the 11-hour plane ride to America and hit the ground running in these bad boys. They are edgy and fun, and currently my favorite token from my favorite city. Just one more article of clothing that adds to my ever-growing wardrobe.
I am just a basic girl who loves themed events and pretends to do hot yoga on a regular basis. I drive around town in my little white Mustang while blasting “California” by Phantom Planet. I am still learning how to be 20-years-old and in constant pursuit of “getting my life together”. Thank you for supporting me and following me on my journey!
