Hi there, fellow Fashionistas/os! I am Nicole Leskowicz, a rising senior at the University of Pittsburgh. While I have a passion for fashion, I have decided to pursue a degree in Accounting. I am a numbers and processes person, so someday I hope to find a career where I can apply my numerical skills to the fashion world.
I am using this last summer before graduation as an opportunity to explore a variety of my interests. I am interning for a real estate business, participating in leadership programs at public accounting firms such as Ernst & Young and KPMG, training extensively for Pitt’s Division I track program and fashion blogging here at CollegeFashionista.
I am excited to share my own personal style as a Style Guru. I do not have a distinct look, but a firm belief that the beauty of fashion is forming style out of a variety of pieces. Something I enjoy doing is taking vintage clothing articles and combining them with newer accessories to create a fashionable look. In the photos above I am wearing American Eagle Outfitters leggings and Nike sneakers. I combined these older pieces with a newer sporty crop top and accessorized the look with simple pink jewelry. I often like to complete basic outfits with a vibrant color.
My fashion inspiration comes in a variety just like my style. I frequently browse through fashion magazines and put together bits from each one to form a personal appearance. Social media platforms are also helpful. Instagram and Twitter allow me to keep up with fashionable celebrities and follow style related accounts. Social media also makes it easy to check out my friends’ outfits online. Sometimes your best resources are right in front of you.
I hope you enjoy reading my articles this summer and that either College Fashionista or I can inspire your style in some way. This season is the best time to kick back and style on.
