Hey guys and gals! Welcome to my Style Guru page on CollegeFashionista! My name is Danielle and I’ll be uploading articles once a week throughout the summer on street style and once in awhile, my own style. Being from the city of Chicago, many of my posts will be based from here and a few planned trips from around the country, where I’ll write about style from there, as well.
Anyways, back to my bio. I love how fashion gives someone a way to express their individualism, mood and personality for others to see without even knowing a person. I grew up watching Gossip Girl and reruns of Sex and the City, which really helped contribute to what designers I liked and where and how I could wear an outfit. I also have to admit my mom has a huge influence on my fashion, as she loves to shop and knows what to piece together, from accessories to the tiniest detail on blouses. I always get her advice on what I should purchase and wear.
So long story short, I enjoy fashion, shopping, traveling, concerts, coffee, Cosmopolitan magazine and social media. Also, did I mention that I love the color black? Because if I could only wear one color for the rest of my life, it would be black, which I’m sure the Olsen twins would be very proud to hear.
