Welcome back readers! You have officially made it. All of those countless sleepless nights studying in the library, writing essays and creating last minute projects are finally over! You now get to bask in the stress-free glory that is summer break. Not only am I thrilled about it being summer, but I am also thrilled to be back at CollegeFashionista for my third semester as a Style Guru.
That being said, I am currently a sophomore majoring in Communications with interests in journalism and fashion business. My dream job is to one day be an editor for one of my favorite fashion magazines (ELLE magazine, Seventeen or Teen Vogue)! I grew up flipping through the glossy pages of these fab magazines, so to actually write for one of them would be a total dream come true. That’s where CollegeFashionista steps in to help!
As a Style Guru, I get loads of rad opportunities to contribute to the fashion world. Not only do I get the chance to indulge in my two favorite things (fashion and writing about it), but I also get to learn more about the various styles and trends on the runway and of the Fashionista/os I find on campus. It’s always a treat to grab my camera and explore the variety of street styles among my fellow peers.
This summer, I plan on scoping out bold patterns, girly wedges and fun florals. Be sure to check back with me every Wednesday for this season’s top looks and trends. In the mean time, don’t forget to grab your favorite pair of neon shades, your beach towel and most importantly, to stay RAD!
