Hello Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Kaki Tzagournis and I couldn’t be more excited to be writing for CollegeFashionista this summer. I am a sophomore at Ohio State University majoring in Marketing and Spanish.
Ever since I can remember I have had a love for fashion. My parents learned about this passion when I was four years old and picked out a bright pink dress, sparkling shoes, a matching handbag and, of course, a tiara at Disney World in a matter of minutes. I continued my love for fashion by dressing my younger sisters up and putting on fashion shows in the basement for our parents. One year for Mother’s Day I even took an old jean skirt and transformed it into a purse with dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Today my love for fashion continues however, it is now on the business end.
I would consider my style to be bright and fun. I have a very bubbly and outgoing personality and I feel that my style reflects that. I am obsessed with statement necklaces, floral patterns, bright lipsticks and rompers this season! What I love about fashion is that it shows the world who you are. What you wear on the outside can be a reflection of who you are on the inside and like Elle Wood’s says, “being true to yourself never goes out of style.”
I can’t wait to embark on this journey with all of you! I look forward to expanding myself as a writer and sharing my fashion insight every Wednesday!
