Hello Fashionistas/os! I’m a senior at the University of Colorado at Boulder studying Psychology with a Digital Media certificate. I’m so excited to be joining CollegeFashionista as a Style Guru!
Living in Boulder, Colorado, I come across a lot of unique and inspiring fashion. Everywhere you turn, you see different styles and looks. With weather that changes at the drop of a hat, we know how to rock a look that can switch from summer sun to shining snowflakes in a flash.
What I love most about fashion is that it’s so diverse. Everyone has different styles and tastes, and that’s what allows fashion to become a form of personal expression. Fashion can be simple, casual, dramatic or over-the-top. Whether it’s a statement necklace or jeans that fit perfectly, fashion is a creative outlet that we all partake in. There are so many options out there and I’m so excited to document some of them here!
Despite my love of fashion, it didn’t become a big part of my life until I arrived at college. While I’ve always loved shopping and clothes, it took me awhile to gain the confidence to venture into the world of fashion. Once I did, I realized I enjoyed so many different looks. I love all things classy and timeless, in addition to the bohemian look, as well. Most of all, comfort is key in my fashion choices as I try to keep things simple and comfortable. Lately, my army green jacket has become my fashion staple, and I love to throw it over a patterned shirt and jeans. Today I topped off my look with strappy sandals and a delicate necklace.
