Hello Fashionistas/os! I’m Sini, and I’m in the final stretch of my sophomore year at the University of California, San Diego. I’m currently a Communications major with a minor in Photography. I am excited and honored to be a part of the Style Guru team, standing shoulder to shoulder with truly inspiring Fashionistas/os!
Throughout my life, I’ve experimented quite a bit with fashion—I have always been eager to get firsthand experience with new trends. I love keeping up with fashion week events that occur throughout the world and hope to participate in one in the near future. As much as I adore and appreciate runway fashion, my daily look consists of whatever feels “right” to me, which doesn’t necessarily mean that I dress accordingly to the hottest trends. So, where do I get my fashion inspiration? From fellow Fashionistas/os like yourselves! I love walking around my college campus and seeing different style interpretations.
While searching for a way to share my passion for photography, fashion, beauty and social media with a greater audience, I decided to start my own fashion and beauty blog, Sinical Attitudes. Also, I tend to dedicate a little more time than most people do on Instagram, where I post snapshots of my daily life—basically, anything and everything. My interest in the fashion and Internet industry, backed up by my social media presence, has allowed me to become a contributor of multiple websites like Her Campus, Spoon University and, of course, CollegeFashionista!
With summer right around the corner, I decided to style today’s outfit around a loud, bold, tropical print top. The leaf designs definitely send cool, summery vibes and make me daydream about going on a summer vacation to the tropics. Because the top makes a statement by itself, I decided to neutralize the rest of my outfit with chic, monochrome colors. Currently, I’m digging the sports luxe trend, which creates perfect looks for stylish but comfort seeking college students like you and me. Hence, sneakers it is!
