Hello, fellow Fashionistas! My name is Jacqueline Cheban and I’m super excited to be your Style Guru this summer! Now, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was born in New York and raised in Los Angeles, two ultra stylish cities.
I come from a Russian background and speak the language fluently with my parents, little brother and Russian friends. I am an avid Francophile and visit the City of Lights as often as I can; I am always inspired by the French culture, food and fashion. My interest in fashion has definitely come from my mom who taught me to see the aesthetics in couture, cosmetics, art and design.
I would describe my style as feminine with a California edge. For instance, I love to mix and match different styles. Currently, light-wash, ripped jeans with a cute blouse are my go-to pieces. Comfy slip-ons, reflective sunglasses and dainty jewelry are a must for my everyday look. Leather pants and a silk top are my night look must-haves. I always add strappy stilettos and a classic clutch to polish off the look. And, let’s not forget beachy waves and dewy makeup.
If I’m not at my university or on social media, you can find me working out, hanging out with friends or spending time with my family. I look forward to sharing you more of my style as well and the style of other students. I truly hope that my posts brings a bit of sparkle into my readers’ daily lives.
