Hey guys! My name is Christine Enriquez and I am a senior Advertising and Marketing major at Loyola University Chicago. I am extremely excited to be a part of CollegeFashionista’s Style Guru team, as fashion has always been one of my greatest interests.
I would describe my current style as casual and relaxed, with unexpected touches of structure and femininity. Today’s outfit consists of pieces from my favorite brands—a relaxed Gap T-shirt and trousers, a UNIQLO leather jacket and a structured Zara bag. I have been gravitating towards neutral and muted colors for the past seasons, but I am eager to experiment with more colors and prints for the summer. Once it warms up in Chicago, my summer uniform would consist of loose tops and slouchy shorts. I would pair these with a more structured bag and sandals or sneakers, depending on where I am going. I would complete this look with a pair of Ray-Bans, which I never leave home without!
I take majority of my style inspiration from fashion blogs such as Song of Style, Trini-G and of course, CollegeFashionista. I have always wanted to be a part of the blogging scene, and being a Style Guru definitely gives me this opportunity. This summer I will also be working on my own blog, The Style Menagerie. These will go hand-in-hand as I explore Chicago’s fashion and style culture.
I am excited to discover, capture and share the distinct styles that both Loyola students and Chicago natives have to offer!
