Between jobs, internships and summer classes, college summer isn’t always as fun as it was when we were kids. But, every week there are a few days that give us the chance to relive those fun times; the weekend. Summer weekends are my absolute favorite, the weather is beautiful and there is always something to do. Weekends also give us Fashionistas the perfect place and time to rock our new favorite looks.
This Fashionista spent her weekend exploring the city of St. Petersburg, one of my favorite places in the Tampa Bay area. From amazing views to delicious food and totally rad shopping, St. Pete is a hot spot for sure. This Fashionista made sure her outfit was appropriate for whatever the day may bring. Dresses are definitely a staple in my wardrobe this summer, their easiness to style and knack for beating the hot summer heat make them a go-to option in any wardrobe.
To help her beat the Florida heat, she has on a simple wide brimmed hat. Throwing on a hat like this is a great way to add another element to any look. For shoes, this Fashionista has on a great pair of huarache sandals. These sandals are super comfy making them a go-to sandal for a day spent walking around a new city. To hold all her daily must-haves, this Fashionista has on a simple cross body bag. For jewelry, this Fashionista keeps it simple with a few metal rings and a black leather watch.
One Simple Change: Take this look from a weekend spent with friends to a date night with your beau by switching out your beloved sandals for a pair of heeled booties. Opt for a pair with a bit of personality; a touch of fringe or a handful of studs should do the trick.
