This Fashionista did not miss a beat as she welcomed the warmth with her fresh face, lips and dress, but didn’t say goodbye to winter completely with her dark accessories and smoky eyes.
Who says you can’t do a smoky eye in the summer? This Fashionista shows how the contrast of the bright face and the dark eyes accentuate her glamorous summery look—and even better, she can change her outfit and be ready for a summer night out! She utilized cream products for her foundation and contour so it will last longer in the summer heat, as well as feel lighter on her face. Primer is also a must in hotter weather to keep your makeup lasting all day. Peach is trendy in the summer months, and nude gloss is always a yes.
Though this Fashionista chose to accessorize with a leather Tory Burch wrap bracelet and black purse and sandals, the peach mid-thigh chiffon dress mirrored the makeup look perfectly. She made sure not to match her makeup too closely to her outfit as it sometimes makes the look become too overwhelming.
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: In order to achieve this fresh but glam summer look, you need a smoky eyeshadow palette, hydrating primer, cream contouring products and a peachy, nude lip gloss. Remember in the summer, “less is more.” Well, I don’t live by that motto because I like extra-large pizzas and a fierce contour, even if it is July!
